Larysa helps organizations increase impact and efficiency through collaboration, helping partners build trust and create structures. After managing seven different collaborations as part of the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan's Strategic Alliance project, she worked with several human service collaborations and is currently working with a funder's collaborative.
As a nonprofit governance expert, Larysa has effectively trained many boards in the development of key strategies to increase a their role in fund development. Larysa has also helped organizations develop comprehensive board governance systems (bylaws, policies) that exceed best practice standards and ensure the transparency demanded by today's donor. Larysa also works with many smaller, volunteer based nonprofits on capacity building and board development.
As a seasoned attorney, Larysa is dedicated to improving the lives of the underserved and has been an advocate for a number of different organizations including: Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance, Lake County, Illinois Public Defender’s Office, Cook County Illinois Office of the Public Guardian and Ukrainian Children’s Aid and Relief Effort.
